- The Launch
In late January 2018, we received a call from a Reed Exhibitions representative inviting us for the Media Launch of Comic Con Africa. It was all very hush at that stage, so we couldn’t help but be skeptical. It was only in early February that the whispers turned into full-on excitement, and soon enough, our adventure began! You can check out our road trip to the launch which eventually got us on the road to Comic Con Africa!
2. The Build Up
During the course of the last few months and as soon as our dreams of attending became a reality, we were back and forth between Johannesburg & Durban. The Reed Exhibitions team made us feel welcome on every occasion and allowed us to be part of one of their regular influencer meetings as well as the planned exhibitor briefing a week later. Being from Durban, both these meetings were essential for us!

3. The Durban Activation
On August 25th 2018, we held Durban Super Hero day at Westville Mall with an official member of the Comic Con Africa team in attendance! One lucky Durbanite won a pair of VIP Hospitality tickets to Comic Con Africa by taking part in the days festivities!
